Winston Rod Co. is an iconic name in fly fishing. Their rods—manufactured in the small town of Twin Bridges, MT since 1929—are world-renowned. In 2022, Winston sought out someone who could showcase their award-winning Air 2 rods and Bauer RVR reels in action. Our Chief Creative Officer, Ryal Lee, traveled to Colorado with Winston’s brand ambassador for two shoots to capture the versatility of their products in the field.

The shoots—one in the summer, another in winter—featured floating and wading on water small and large in the Colorado countryside. The images captured are being used by Winston in magazine advertisements, sales materials, social content, and their website, featuring prominently in their most recent brand campaign, BENT since 1929.
